Bible Truths for the Last Days

As Seventh-day Adventists, we accept the Bible as our only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. Here we explore key Bible-centered topics critical to understanding the times in which we live.

What is the Sabbath?

Among the Ten Commandments, written by the finger of God, is His design for the human race to rest every seventh day (Saturday). However, society has been led to adopt Sunday (the first day of the week) as the common day of rest.

Scriptural evidence reveals that the Sabbath was established at Creation, observed by Jesus, kept by the apostles, and remains the eternal sign of God's authority as Creator and Sanctifier. Investigating history reveals who changed the day of worship and why the world has been led to forget the Fourth Commandment—the only commandment God explicitly commanded us to "Remember."

"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God..."

What is the Mark of the Beast?

Many popular theories and speculations exist regarding the identity of the beast in prophecy and what its dreaded mark is. However, scripture does not leave us in the dark.

By engaging in verse-by-verse comparisons of the books of Daniel and Revelation, we find a consistent, clear profile. Prophetic symbols represent real-world historical powers. The Mark of the Beast is not a physical chip or an arbitrary mark, but a sign of loyalty. It represents a power claiming spiritual authority that stands in direct opposition to the authority of God and His commandments.

God's Final Call

What are the Three Angels' Messages?

The Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14:6-16 represent God's final warning call to humanity just before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the outpouring of the seven last plagues.

These messages are a global proclamation of the everlasting Gospel: calling people to worship the Creator, warning against the worship of the beast and its image, and identifying the saints who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus. As the climax of world history draws closer, everyone will be faced with a destiny-determining choice.

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

Revelation 14:12 (KJV)
Wholeness & Healing

Health and Beating Disease

The human body is under constant attack. Modern food systems, environmental changes, and lifestyle habits are causing unprecedented levels of physical and mental illness, which directly impacts our spiritual experience.

God designed our bodies to be a temple for His Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We believe there is a vital link between physical health and spiritual clarity. When our bodies are healthy, our minds are more receptive to the voice of God. By returning to God's original diet and natural remedies, we can enjoy the health and vitality God promised to His people.

"...If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God... I will put none of these diseases upon thee..."
