Who We Are
Agape is a Seventh-Day Sabbath keeping church in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. We are an English-speaking congregation located in the friendly neighborhood of C.W.5 in Vanderbijlpark.
As a community of believers, we are committed to building authentic human connections, growing together in spiritual maturity, and sharing the message of hope, wholeness, and truth with our community and the world.
Our Conference Association
Agape Seventh-day Adventist Church is a registered congregation of the Northern Conference of South Africa (NCSA). The NCSA is a constituent conference of the Southern Africa Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, which in turn is part of the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID) of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
Through this global structure, we are linked with a worldwide family of over 21 million Seventh-day Adventists in more than 200 countries, united in faith, mission, and message.
The Ten Commandments
"For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."- Malachi 3:6
We believe that each of the Ten Commandments is equally important. They were written by the finger of God, spoken in power, and given together at the same time. The law of God is a transcript of His character—a mirror that points us to our need for a Savior. We believe in keeping all ten, including the fourth commandment, which calls us to remember and rest upon the holy seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday).
